Abstract: We carry out a systematic analysis of the Cabbibo-favored (CF) and singly Cabbibo-suppressed (SCS) decays of D0->VV, and demonstrate that this process is ideal for revealing the unique role played by the long-distance final-state interactions (FSIs). The FSI mechanism can provide a natural explanation for the mysterious polarization puzzles recently observed in D0->VV in experiment, and it turns out that the D0->VV decays can serve as an ideal process for probing the long-distance dynamics. More observables, which can be measured at BESIII and possibly at LHCb, are also suggested.
