Abstract: The Energy-Energy Correlator (EEC) measures the energy-weighted two-particle angular correlation in high-energy colliders. There has been resurgent interest in EECs in the past few years. In particular, it has provided a theoretical and experimental laboratory for exploring the phenomena of hard Regge trajectory in QCD. In this talk I will first give an overview of the EEC program, both theoretically and experimentally. I will then focus on a recently discovered triangle that connects some well-established concepts in quantum field theories through the study of the EEC, namely, the Sudakov double logarithms and transverse-momentum dependent fragmentations, the correlation function-Wilson loop duality, and the analytic conformal bootstrap.
